Safety OSHA

I see safety as individual responsibility with industry impact.  I’ve seen jobs where guys just jump right into spraying, and only after they begin do they say – “oh yeah, I forgot my respirator.”  This may impact the sprayer or helper, but if a health issue grows out of it, or if OSHA shows up, not only is everyone on that job impacted, it becomes a recorded black mark on the industry.

Polyurea Installation

Got a call from an installer who said he has been using a polyurea direct to concrete without a primer for 6 years.  He claimed he has no failures related to primer use.  I myself never recommend using polyurea on concrete without a primer. 

Aliphatic polyurea

Aliphatic polyurea is now a new elastomeric coatings trend. With most if not all the chemistries as well as equipment development are behind us. The industry is ready to make a big push in color stability/UV resistance aliphatic polyurea. If you are not offering aliphatic polyurea, you are missing the boat.
